The Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University (INMU) is honored to support the Capacity-Building Training on Maternal and Child Nutrition at the invitation of the Royal Thai Embassy, Vientiane, by contributing distinguished experts and faculty members as resource persons. The training aims to strengthen the capacity of trainers in maternal and child nutrition for the network of the Lao Women’s Union Central Committee in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR).
The training is being held from 3–7 August 2026 in Vientiane Capital, Lao PDR. Professor Emeritus Dr. Kraisid Tontisirin, Advisor to the Institute of Nutrition, together with faculty members and experts from the Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University, are serving as resource persons, sharing their knowledge and expertise in maternal and child nutrition. The programme is designed to enhance the capacity of nutrition professionals while promoting academic collaboration and advancing nutrition development between Thailand and the Lao PDR.
