On 1 July 2026, the Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University (INMU), led by Associate Professor Dr Rungtiwa Wongsagonsup, Assistant Director for Academic Services and Laboratory Standards, together with the Institute’s Safety Committee, welcomed the evaluation team from the Center for Occupational Safety, Health and Workplace Environment Management (COSHEM), Mahidol University, to the Aree Valyasevi Meeting Room, Institute of Nutrition.
The assessment, conducted on 1–2 July 2026, was carried out under the Laboratory Peer Evaluation program. Four laboratories at the Institute of Nutrition participated in the evaluation: Food Microbiology and Biotechnology Laboratory 2, Food Chemistry Laboratory, Center for Innovation and Reference on Food for Nutrition, Human Nutrition Laboratory 1, and Food Chemistry Laboratory 2.
The evaluation reflects the Institute’s continued commitment to strengthening laboratory safety standards and fostering a safe environment that supports high-quality research, education, and academic services.
