Institute of Nutrition Library (Nevin S. Scrimshaw Nutrition Library)
History
- 1983: Located at 6th fl. Research Center, Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital.
- 1986: Moved to 2nd fl. Institute of Nutrition Research building, Mahidol University, Salaya.
- 2009: The name of the Institute of Nutrition changed with the 29 June 2009 declaration of the Establishment of Mahidol University
Organizational Units, in line with the MU Act 2007. The Institute of Nutrition Research Library then became the ‘Institute of Nutrition Library.’ - 2015: Associate Professor Dr. Visith Chavasit, then Director of the Institute of Nutrition, announced a plan to renovate the library and rename it the
‘Nevin S Scrimshaw Nutrition Library’ in honor of Dr. Scrimshaw, co-founder of the Institute of Nutrition.
