On September 11, 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalat Santivarangkna, Director of the Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University (INMU), presided over the opening ceremony and delivered welcoming remarks to Dr. Abhisit Bhatsada and the guest speaker team from the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University. The event was held at the Aree Valyasevi Meeting Room, Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University.
The workshop, titled “Smart Waste Management and Upcycling for Sustainability,” aimed to enhance knowledge, understanding, and awareness of proper waste management and segregation. It also provided practical guidelines on repurposing waste and leftover materials to add value, serving as a key mechanism to drive efficient organizational waste management.
