Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalat Santivarangkna, Director of the Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University (INMU), attended the official press conference for Peace Festival 2026 at the Sireeruckhachati Nature Learning Park, Mahidol University, Salaya campus.
Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, M.D., President of Mahidol University and Chairman of the Organizing Network, outlined the event’s core objectives and overview. The upcoming festival is scheduled to take place from August 17–19, 2026, at the Salaya campus.
A key highlight of the press conference was a special keynote lecture titled “Why Thai Society Learns Nothing from October 6” by Prof. Emeritus Dr. Thongchai Winichakul. His talk offered profound historical insights and crucial lessons aimed at reflecting on contemporary Thai society.
