On September 12, 2025, the Institute of Nutrition (INMU), Mahidol University, organized a training on basic firefighting and fire evacuation. The program aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge, awareness, and practical skills in responding effectively to fire emergencies.
The training was officially opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalat Santivarangkna, Director of the Institute of Nutrition, with active participation from the institute’s staff.
The training was led by a team of expert instructors from Nippon Chemical Co., Ltd., an organization accredited by the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare. They provided participants with knowledge on fire prevention principles, the proper use of fire extinguishers, as well as systematic fire evacuation drills.
