            Assoc.Prof.Dr.Warangkana Srichamnong, Deputy Director of the Collaboration Network and Academic Services, Assoc.Prof.Dr.Nattira On-Nom, Head of Food Science Unit, and Assoc.Prof.Dr.Chaowanee Chupeerach, Deputy Director participated in a booth exhibiting on the topic “Menu..Quinoa for health” at the food and beverage trade show Bhutan Agri-Food Trade and Investment Forum (BATIF) 2024 between 15-19 May 2024 at Pemako & Centenary Park Hotel, Thimphu, Bhutan.
            The Institute of Nutrition got financial support for the exhibition from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) under the One Country One Priority Product (OCOP) project. The project is organized to promote equal income generation from the processing of important agricultural products of each country according to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
INMU has an important role in transferring knowledge and technology to develop food and recipes that are safe, nutritious and environmentally friendly from Bhutan’s important agricultural ingredient, Quinoa, which is Cereal foods that are high in dietary fiber.
