On May 18, 2024 Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University and Food and Drug Administration organized public hearing for developing regulations of alternative proteins, and plant-based foods for 3 main product groups; plant-based meat products or plant-based protein products, beverage products, plant milk, and plant-based dairy substitutes. The results from the meeting will be taken into consideration for future announcement which supports trade and distribution both domestically and abroad. The meeting took place at the Grand Richmond Hotel in Nonthaburi Province.
