On May 5, 2024 The Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University, led by Mr. Thanapon Phophuet, Assistant Director of Physical and Environmental Affairs participated in World Environment Day activities which is in line with the concept of “Land Restoration, Desertification & Drought Resilience (Land and Desert Recovery from Drought)” of the United Nations by planting trees in the front yard of Establishment of Mahidol University Bio-industrial Development Center, Salaya, Mahidol University which is part of the plan to develop a sustainable green university that promotes living and learning alongside nature. It’s also increases green space and is a source of carbon dioxide absorption within the university.
