On May 31, 2024, the Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University, organized a training course. “Food sanitation for business operators and food handlers” for Neera Retreat Hotel, Sam Phran District, Nakhon Pathom Province, with Assist. Prof. Dr. Chatchawan Singhakant and Ms. Sarinthorn Patamphan, speakers of the training unit. This training aims to provide food handlers and business operators knowledge and understanding of food sanitation principles, personal hygiene, relevant laws, including food sanitation standards and management of food establishments.
Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University is one of the agencies approved by the Department of Health, Ministry of Public Health to organize training for business operators and food handlers for business operators and food handlers who is an important person in procuring raw materials, cooking, and serving clean and safe food. The training is part of academic services under the operations of the Institute of Nutrition with a commitment to raise the standards of safety and quality of food and nutrition for Thai society.
