Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University congratulations to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kanchit Judprasong for receiving the award “2022 Outstanding Principal Investigator” as an award for success in organizing and implementing a research project to create food composition database in Thailand. This award is one of the two countries out of 15 member countries at the 2023 AFACI Project Evaluation on Establishment of Asian Food Composition Database (AFCD) Conference on 21-25 August 2023 in Bali, Indonesia.
The Asian Food and Agriculture Cooperation Program (AFACI) was established by the Rural Development Agency of Korea in 2009, Seoul, Korea, is a multilateral government-governmental cooperation agency that aims to improve food production. realizing sustainable agriculture of countries in Asia by sharing knowledge and information on agricultural technology
AFACI currently consists of 15 member states: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Lao PDR, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Uzbekistan and Korea.
