On 5 September 2025, Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University (INMU) hosted a study tour for a delegation from Research Institute for Health Sciences, Chiang Mai University, as part of their efforts to strengthen laboratory systems in line with international quality standards ISO/IEC 17025.
The group was received by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rungtiwa Wongsagonsup, Assistant Director for Academic Services and Laboratory Standards at INMU, who shared the institute’s experiences and best practices in achieving and maintaining ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. INMU researchers also joined the session, engaging with visitors and providing practical insights.
The program included a guided visit to Toxicology Laboratory 1, where the delegation observed the standard’s implementation in action and learned how laboratory practices are aligned with international benchmarks.
