Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University Shares Research at ILSI Southeast Asia Region 2025 Conference in Singapore

               Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University took part in the international conference “Nutrition and Healthy Longevity: Bridging Science, Innovations and Policy in Southeast Asia,” held on August 6–7, 2025, at Holiday Inn Atrium Hotel, Singapore, organized by ILSI Southeast Asia Region.

               Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dunyaporn Trachootham, D.D.S., was invited to speak on “From Research to Registration: Regulatory Aspects of Health-related Food Products for Older Adults,” where she shared insights into the regulatory challenges of bringing health-focused food products to market—reflecting the Institute’s drive to apply academic research to real-world health solutions.

               Also presenting at the event were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chaowanee Chupeerach, who shared her study on the effects of green tea on cardiometabolic risk in people with dyslipidemia, and Dr. Watcharapol Khoonin, a PhD student in the joint doctoral program between the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital and Institute of Nutrition, who presented his research on a fortified nutrition drink designed to improve muscle strength in older adults with low protein intake.

               The Institute’s active involvement in this regional forum highlights its ongoing commitment to advancing nutritional science and contributing to public health innovation.
