Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University (INMU) conducted a 7-day intensive training course on Food Analysis for Bhutan Fellows from the Royal University of Bhutan, held from 7 to 14 July 2025. This training combined in-depth theoretical instruction with practical, laboratory-based sessions. Participants were equipped with advanced analytical competencies in mass spectrometry, quantitative PCR, molecular cloning, next-generation sequencing, and metagenomic analysis. The training aimed to strengthen technical capacities for nutrition data generation, food safety assessment, and evidence-based policy development to support national and regional needs. This initiative also marked a significant step towards fostering future academic and research collaborations between the two institutions.
