We proudly congratulate Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kunchit Judprasong from the Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University on receiving the 2024 Most Outstanding Country Winners Award at the AFACI Project Workshops on AFCD+, held on June 24–25, 2025, in Manila, Philippines.
Representing Thailand, the Institute was recognized as the best-performing country among 15 AFACI member nations for its work on the Thai Food Composition Database, a project that collects and preserves vital nutritional data on local agricultural products. This initiative plays a key role in promoting food security, protecting culinary heritage, and supporting sustainable agriculture across Asia.
This regional recognition reaffirms the Institute’s commitment to advancing nutrition research and international collaboration, contributing to long-term health and sustainability goals in Asia.
