Bhutan and Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University Discuss Strategic Partnership for Local Food Product Commercialization

               On June 18, 2025, Asso. Prof. Dr. Chalat Santivarangkna, Director of the Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University, together with the executive team and faculty members, welcomed a delegation from the Kingdom of Bhutan, led by Dasho Thinley Namgyel, Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock. The visit focused on exploring potential collaboration in the development of food products using Bhutanese local ingredients for the Thai market, as well as discussing strategies for food product patent registration. Experts from the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (iNT), Mahidol University, also participated in the discussions and provided guidance. The delegation concluded the visit with a tour of the Institute’s facilities.
