The Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University (INMU), in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), is organizing a hands-on workshop on “Value Addition for Products under the One Country One Priority Product (OCOP) Initiative.” The event will take place from March 17–20, 2025, at the Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University.
This workshop was conducted in a hybrid format, featuring onsite training for representatives from four countries—Cambodia, Nepal, Bhutan, and Papua New Guinea—while online lectures are open to participants from across the Asia-Pacific region.
Participants will gain in-depth knowledge on food processing technologies, product development, quality standards, food safety, and marketing strategies. Additionally, they will engage in practical training on nutrient analysis, nutrition labeling design, and product innovation aligned with modern health trends.
This workshop marks a significant step in enhancing the competitiveness of OCOP products in the global market while promoting better nutrition among populations. It also highlights international collaboration in driving food innovation for a more sustainable future.
