On January 31, 2025, the Institute of Nutrition, in collaboration with the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (iNT) and the Agricultural Research Development Agency (Public Organization) or ARDA, under the “RAINS for Medical & Functional Food Valley Management Plan” by Mahidol University, organized a workshop on “The journey of Food Research and Innovation: from Lab to Market” at the Mahidol University Alumni Association Meeting Room, Salaya. On the occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalat Santivarangkna, Director of the Institute of Nutrition and project manager, delivered the welcome speech the participants. Moreover, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Viriya Taecharungroj, Director of the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (iNT), delivered a speech on the university’s role in supporting the transition of research into the market.
For this workshop, We were honored to have Dr. Porramate Chumyim, Senior Advisor and FI Accelerator Platform Manager at Food Innopolis, as a speaker on the topic “Research to Market Canvas”, which is key to helping lecturers and researchers drive their research toward real-world commercial use. In addition, participants had the opportunity to practice using the tool through workshop activities, which help them to apply its effectively.
