The Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University, warmly welcomed a delegation of executives and faculty members from Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT) and The Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges VI (PASUC 6EMC) for a benchmarking visit aimed at exchanging perspectives on education and research collaboration.

               On December 16, 2024, The Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University, warmly welcomed a delegation of executives and faculty members from Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT) and The Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges VI (PASUC 6EMC) for a benchmarking visit aimed at exchanging perspectives on education and research collaboration.

               The meeting was opened by Dr. Nachon Raetong, Assistant Director for International Relations, who provided an overview of the institute. Joining the discussions were Asst. Prof. Dr. Suwapat Kittibunchakul, Assistant Director for Academic Administration and Development, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nattira On-nom, Head of the Food Science Unit. Together, they engaged in dialogues about academic and research capabilities, as well as exploring opportunities for collaboration, including student exchanges, joint research projects, and other cooperative initiatives.

               During the visit, the delegation was also given a tour of the institute’s state-of-the-art facilities, such as the Demonstration Kitchen and the PTFI Laboratory. This visit marks an important step towards strengthening international collaboration in education and research in the field of nutrition, with high hopes for advancing shared capabilities on a global scale.
