The Institute of Nutrition, in collaboration with the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (iNT) at Mahidol University, organized the event “IP in Food Innovation” at MaSHARES @MB. The event aimed to provide knowledge about intellectual property (IP) protection in the field of food innovation.

               On October 1, 2024, the Institute of Nutrition, in collaboration with the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (iNT) at Mahidol University, organized the event “IP in Food Innovation” at MaSHARES @MB. The event aimed to provide knowledge about intellectual property (IP) protection in the field of food innovation. It was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalat Santivarangkna, Director of the Institute of Nutrition, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thunnalin Winuprasith, Acting Deputy Director for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem, iNT.
               The program included a knowledge-sharing session on Intellectual Property in Food Innovation and a hands-on workshop titled Guiding for IP Document Preparation. Participants learned about the process of protecting ideas in food innovation and practiced preparing documents for IP registration. The event aimed to help attendees plan for the protection of intellectual property as they develop new food products.
