Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 8:30 a.m. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the opening ceremony of the 17th National Nutrition Conference on “Nutrition for Equity and Sustainability” at the BITEC Bangna Exhibition and Convention Center, Bangkok.
On this occasion, HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn gave a speech at the opening of the 17th National Nutrition Conference and gave a special lecture on “The Challenge of Achieving Equity and Sustainability in Nutrition”
In this regard, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chalat Santivarangkna, Director of the Institute of Nutrition pparticipated in the opening ceremony of the conference as a partnership of the conference organizing network. This National Nutrition Conference held between 6 – 7 March 2024 by the Nutrition Association of Thailand under the Patronage of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn under the support of government and private agencies. There were more than 800 people attending the conference.
The conference consisted of Speakers covered a wide range of interesting topics, such as the challenges of achieving equity and sustainability in nutrition, How artificial intelligence and data science can advance the future of nutrition?, AI and data science in nutrition for equitable welness solutions, Can nutrition labelling policy advance health equity? etc. discussions, academic presentations, both oral and poster. The National Nutrition Conference is an important forum for nutrition academics, dietitians, doctors, nurses, teachers, and people involved in health work to increase their knowledge and potential, including providing opportunities for health academics to exchange knowledge and experience together. Help promote the development of food and nutrition work that leads to health care support nutritional status for Thai people in an equitable and sustainability.
