Nutrition and Wellness Promotion Unit, Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University organized a workshop on “developing (tentative) a manual for appropriate management of fatty foods” in schools for 8 pilot schools in the project to study food management patterns for primary school children that affect the appropriate consumption of foods containing fat (Case study of Nakhon Pathom Province) Year 2 at Mida Grand Hotel, Dvaravati, Nakhon Pathom on 2-3 December 2023.
The workshop aims to create a common understanding of the nutritional situation of students attending the school and the importance of nutritional status to performance quality of life and well-being happiness of students and families and to brainstorm ideas exchange knowledge and experiences of school work for jointly developing a manual for managing food containing fat in schools jointly with school administrators, teachers who responsible for lunch, Health education teacher, physical education/health/science. Also received kindness from supervisor from the Nakhon Pathom Provincial Education Office and the Nakhon Pathom Primary Educational Service Area Office, Area 1 and the Director of the Education Promotion Group Nakhon Pathom Primary Education Office District 1 and District 2 participated in developing the manual.
