Researchers Sabri Bromage, Pattamaporn Joompa, & Wimonphan Chathiran attended the “Thailand Consultation Workshop on Enhancing ASEAN Agrobiodiversity Use and Landscape Biodiversity: Current Status, Barriers, Opportunities and Stakeholders”

        Researchers Sabri Bromage, Pattamaporn Joompa, & Wimonphan Chathiran attended the “Thailand Consultation Workshop on Enhancing ASEAN Agrobiodiversity Use and Landscape Biodiversity: Current Status, Barriers, Opportunities and Stakeholders” organized by the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT, in collaboration with the Bureau of Foreign Agricultural Affairs (BOFAA), Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Thailand. At the workshop, INMU researchers discussed various projects related to agrobiodiversity that INMU is conducting in the laboratory (including analysis and compilation of data on the nutritional and functional properties of edible biodiversity and incorporation of indigenous biodiversity in food product development and waste utilization) as well as in the community (including surveys of the contribution of indigenous biodiversity to population diets, food culture, the agroecology, and livelihoods, and promoting knowledge of indigenous foods and food culture among the public).
