Prof. Dr. Chalat Santivarangkna, Director of the Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University, attended the opening ceremony of the Asian food ingredient technology and innovation exhibition \u201cFood Ingredients Asia 2023\u201d as the Institute of Nutrition is one of the organizations supporting the said event, which Fi Asia 2023 was Held from 20 \u2013 22 September 2023 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) to push local ingredients, add value, into world-class mass ingredients to meet the hot food trend like \u201cFuture Food\u201d.<\/p><p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The Institute of Nutrition, A booth was set up to showcase products from research projects, such as the development of medical formulas for the treatment of pediatric patients with organic acid metabolism disorders, the development of standard extracts of food formulas from Thai herbs to increase Immune system performance, testing the efficacy of sesame seed oil products in preventing colon cancer caused by inflammatory bowel disease in mice, development of high protein foam food and acceptance in the elderly, etc., along with the launch of the Product Analysis and Marketing Service Unit of the Institute of Nutrition.
